Important Statement

In response to the American-Saudi mediation, we announce the extension of the ceasefire for an additional 72 hours in order to open humanitarian corridors and facilitate the movement of citizens and residents, enabling them to meet their needs and reach safe areas.
We confirm our acceptance of the request for a ceasefire and our commitment to it. We welcome local, regional, and international initiatives and thank the African Union, IGAD, the United Arab Emirates, the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and all sisterly and friendly countries seeking to find a solution to the current situation in our country.
We reaffirm our strict commitment to the declared humanitarian ceasefire, and we call on the coup forces, shadow battalions, and remnants that have continued to attack our sites and camps in a clear violation of the declared ceasefire to recognize the interest of our noble people and abide by the ceasefire.
The Rapid Support Forces have continued to confront repeated attacks during the ceasefire hours, which clearly demonstrates the treacherous behavior of the coup forces and the internal conflicts within their leadership.
